as part of the 2025
When I was a kid our family drove from Uluru (where we lived at the ranger station) to Broome through the Simpson desert on a family holiday. On red desert roads my mum and dad played three tapes: Warumpi Band 'Big Name, No Blanket', Dire Straits 'Brothers in Arms' and the Eagles 'Greatest Hits'.
One of my most prized records is Warumpi Band 'Big Name, No Blanket'. I share this story in my Darwin Fringe Festival show.
I collect vinyl records for the value they bring and to support artists. I'm proud of the my growing collection of First Nations artists and actively seek out more records.
View my collection of First Nations artists below (April 2026), or my folder on discogs.
