Vinyl Listening Experiences are events held on Larrakia country where a vinyl only set is especially curated around a certain theme or purpose.
These events typically go for about one hour and serve as a connector to the attendee's next part of their evening.
It is a space where community can come together and share in a collective appreciation not only of the spaces we share and the connections we have with each other, but especially the creativity of the artist and musical theme and the analogue experience of vinyl.
We know gratitude, appreciation and connection are so important to wellbeing and self, and so we seek to build community where opportunities such as these showcase artistry over algorithms.

Vinyl Listening Experience #2
16 May 2025 @ Air Raid Records
For vinyl, hip hop and music enthusiasts this set served over one hour of classic 90s Rza productions spanning members of the Wu-Tang Clan and nostalgic versions from El Michels Affair.
By blending instrumentals with original and nostalgic versions the set was an appreciation and informative journey of the earlier creative works that led to Rza becoming such a renowned and respected artist and producer to today.
Vinyl Listening Experience #1

As a vinyl only DJ I'm pushing boundaries and testing ideas for the ways we consume music. In collaboration with Air Raid Records and held at the Soh-Bar venue alongside Darwin's independent record store, I curated a selection of 70s to today's funk, soul, hip hop and RnB.
The turnout was strong and I'm especially pleased with the feedback. Sharing space and connecting with each other and listening to good music and curations is a passion. This event is the first amongst many where I hope to cultivate an appreciation of the vinyl only experience and provide more intimate and genuine spaces to share these experiences.
